Laundry Day is a pastel painting I created from a photograph I took visiting friends on the New York side of the Berkshires. There was something very peaceful about the colors of the laundry set against the yellow of the house. The flowers, herbs, and shrubs added the texture that made the whole scene whisper "paint me".

The painting measures 8" x 10".
