Hadley in July is an original pastel painting of one of my favorite views just off of what my husband calls 'the miracle mile', i.e. Route 9. I love and appreciate the farming families and Kestral Land Trust for working to preserve land, natural habitat, and vistas like this one. The day I painted this was a perfect July day; not too hot nor humid, Queen Anne's Lace blowing in the breeze, and a murmuration of starlings overhead.
