Listen, She's Speaking is a soft pastel painting of a view across the street from our house on a misty morning. I challenged myself to use colors that were not necessarily representative of how the scene looked, but rather, how it felt. The pink is quietly vibrating and the blue is very soothing. It is exactly how the morning felt to me.

This is the "sister painting" to Golden, a pastel painting of the same size and same subject but totally different palette. Golden is yellowy golds with purples. The painting measures 12 x 18 and is sold unframed. If you are interested in purchasing it framed, please contact me.
