'Close to Home' is a pastel painting of the final stretch of the loop my husband and I like to walk in our neighborhood. It's a beautiful walk any time of year and in any weather. This is the view when we make the turn onto our road. We pass a vernal pool, the side of a long, red tobacco barn, a huge sycamore tree where a falcon perches every morning, and a field that often has deer. It's protected and quiet except for the birdsongs.

'Close to Home' measures 9" x 12" and is sold unframed. Please contact me if you are interested in purchasing it framed.
