'Waterway' is a print of a pastel painting. The view is from the road near Tenants Harbor, ME. I am a public school teacher and the year I painted 'Waterway' was the only one I can recall in my career when we had no snow days to make up. My husband and I found an adorable, been in the family for generations, cottage right on the water for the last week of June. Maine is incredibly picturesque. There is no shortage of inspiration for painter, poet, photographer, writer, gardener, ship builder, etc. I knew as soon as I saw this view I would paint it.
